ABOUT THE AGENT AND AGENCYHello my name is Wade Au, I grew up in South Dakota where I met my wife Kavita. I graduated from the University of South Dakota and "fooled" her into marrying me as she thought I was going to medical school. When you stop with a biology degree you end up doing insurance. Both Kavita and I started with State Farm the same day in 1993 right out of college. We have 2 sons ages 19 and 21. Our motto is "to do our best for the benefit of others" We are passionate about taking great care of our customers and doing our best for them. If you join our team, you will find we very focused on our goals and we are very clear how to teach your the processes you need to win. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reach out to new prospects and convert them into clients
  • Take great care of the client from beginning to the end with every interaction with customer.
  • Add value by getting to know the client, what their needs and goals are and then solving their problems with our insurance products.
  • Work in a team environment to meet daily production goals and complete tasks with assigned due dates.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Be a self starter and maintain high level of activity with little supervision. Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
  • Look for other sales opportunities and set appointments for self or team mates.
REQUIREMENTS 2-3 years of B2B sales experience
  • Must be able to contact and reach new clients through use of phone, emails, text or in person
  • Must be Competitive, Self starter with little supervision
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • People-oriented
  • Organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • fully understand State Farm's current systems and processes already.
  • Property and Casualty must be able to obtain
  • Life and Health license must be able to obtain

Compensation $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
